# Receive assets

> Choose the correct account, network, and receive method.

## Get a receive address

1. Select the account and network.
2. Open Receive.
3. Choose the receive method shown in the wallet.
4. Copy the address or share the QR code.

## Address types

An Arkade address and a Bitcoin boarding address are different receive methods. Use an address compatible with the sending wallet and network.

Check the full address before sharing. Do not send mainnet funds to testnet addresses.

After sending from the other wallet, check [activity](https://docs.arksat.xyz/en/wallet/activity.md). Balance updates depend on the transaction state and network.
